About Us
Each member and guest is treated as a person, not a number. Since we are a small company, staff and members alike know your name and often go out of their way to get to know you better.
Each of our coaches participate in local and sectional tournaments and have over 40,000 combined hours of competitive play.
Our courts are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for our members and guests, and we provide racket stringing service.

Location & Hours
Playing as a Guest
For $15 any member may bring a guest without the use of a free guest pass. This can be paid in person with cash or check by leaving it with the front desk or into the suggestion box. Alternatively, you can let Forest Crest keep track and add it to your monthly invoice.
Members paying their dues before the first day of each month receive free guest passes for the upcoming month.
Family and single memberships receive one free guest pass per week of that month.
Senior members and junior memberships receive one guest pass for that month.
A guest pass may be used for up to three guests on the same court and is valid that month only; it does not accumulate if not used. A guest may come out on court on a free guest pass only once a month.
Guest fees are charged for guests who play more than once a month to the player whom the reservation falls under.
If you know you are using your free guest pass please make sure to fill one out in the front lobby and drop it into the suggestion box before you play.
If you would like to pay your guest fee with cash or check we ask that you also fill out a guest pass and drop both your check and guest pass into the suggestion box. We have envelopes ready so that your checks and guest passes are not lost or mixed up.
Lastly, if you are unsure if you have a free guest pass or not you may fill one out anyway and we will keep track, only charging you if your guest passes are all used up.
About Mountlake Terrace
Washington’s Mountlake Terrace is a suburban community in Snohomish County. Located 13 miles (21 km) north of Seattle, Shoreline and Lynnwood are adjacent to it. In the 2019 census, the city’s population was just over 21,000 people.
A Brief History of the Area
On the site of a decommissioned airport, Mountlake Terrace was established in 1949 by real estate entrepreneurs to offer low-cost homes for veterans. A city was established in 1954 to offer municipal services after the population grew to more than 5,000 inhabitants within five years.
After Interstate 5 opened in 1965, an industrial park was built in the northwest part of the city. As a result of the local economy and a pair of arson fires in 1990, Mountlake Terrace’s tiny retail malls began to deteriorate.
A downtown redevelopment plan with mixed-use buildings was developed in the early 2000s, with the goal of expanding beyond a bedroom community for commuters.
There will be light rail service at the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center by 2024, which is a significant bus hub.
Lake Ballinger is accessible from the city’s parks, and the city holds an annual summer event that is part of Seafair every year.
Neighborhoods We Serve
When it comes to municipal planning, Mountlake Terrace is split into six distinct communities. These include: the Town Center, Cascade View, the Gateway, Lake Ballinger and Melody Hill.
Near Veterans Memorial Park, the Town Center between 220th and 260th streets is home to a number of fun shops, mouthwatering restaurants, and municipal structures. Plans are for a mixed-use neighborhood featuring commercial and office space, as well as denser housing.
In addition to Terrace Creek Park, Cedar Terrace lies just east of the Town Center and Lyon Creek. There is a retail mall and numerous apartment buildings along Cedar Way, but the majority of the area is residential.
Between Interstate 5 in the west and Brier in the east, Cascade View covers much of city’s north side, from Interstate 5 to Brier. In addition to the high school campus and a retail mall, the area is also mainly residential.
Near Interstate 5 and its junction with State Route 104, The Gateway area is mainly residential to the south of The Town Center. On the western border of the neighborhood, a three-building complex with 600 apartments and shops is being built.
The Lake Ballinger area, which is nearly entirely residential, is situated in Mountlake Terrace’s southwest corner, between the Interurban Trail and Interstate 5, and contains the lake that has the same name.
The Melody Hill area is home to a mix of office parks, factories and residential complexes in the city’s northwest quadrant. Located west of Interstate 5 and north of Lake Ballinger, the community is perched on a hill that overlooks the area.
We serve surrounding communities too, including Bothell, Brier, Edmonds, Everett, Kenmore, Lynnwood, Mukilteo, and Shoreline.
What Makes Mountlake Terrace Great?
While Mountlake Terrace is a relatively small suburb of Seattle, there are a few local attractions that locals regularly enjoy.
#1 Saint Edward State Park
Saint Edward State Park is a 316-acre park located near Kenmore and Kirkland. It’s a Washington State Park. The land was logged in the 19th and 20th centuries before becoming a seminary and then a state park.
The park has paths for bikers and walkers. The canopy is dominated by Coast Douglas-fir, Western Redcedar, Bigleaf Maple, Pacific Madrone, and Western Hemlock. Its thick carpet is covered with ferns, shrubs, and moss.
On the west is an undeveloped lake Washington beach. The park surrounds Bastyr University’s Saint Thomas Center.
#2 Lake Ballinger
Lake Ballinger is a 103-acre freshwater lake in southern Snohomish County, Washington. It is bounded on two sides by Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds. It is supplied north by Hall Creek and east by McAleer Creek, which feeds Lake Washington.
The lake was formerly known as McAleer Lake after the previous owner, logger Hugh McAleer. It was bought in 1901 by future US Secretary of the Interior Richard A. Ballinger, who named it after his father Richard Ballinger.
#3 Ballinger Park
Ballinger Park, on the north and east sides of Lake Ballinger, is a 55-acre multi-purpose sports facility, with a 42-acre natural park, and a boat launch.
The sports facility has a full-length multipurpose baseball, softball, and soccer field. Two kid’s play structures and picnic tables are on site.
The Mountlake Terrace Senior Center runs the Mickey Corso Community Clubhouse and rents out rooms.
Lake Ballinger’s 100-acre boat launch is one of the lake’s few public boating, fishing, and bathing facilities. A boat launch, fishing pier, beach access, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms are available year round.

Family Membership: Initiation Fee $500, Monthly dues $120 + tax
Senior Membership: Initiation Fee $0, Monthly dues $50 + tax
Junior Membership: Initiation Fee $150, Monthly dues $65 + tax
Inactive Membership: Monthly dues $25
Can I cancel my court reservation?
How do I reserve a court?
Singles reservation requires two names to reserve the court, doubles reservations require 3 names to reserve the court. Guest names can be used after all member names are used. All members listed on the reservation are obligated to be on court during their reservation.
